Prague Restaurant is a family owned business run by Mariana Sulganova and Karel Tamchyna since 2017.
They both were born and raised in former Czechoslovakia and therefore you can taste Europe in every bite.

Our delicious meals are made from scratch using the best ingredients.

We are crafting authentic homemade Czech and Slovak food with a modern touch. We create own signature sauces that add own special twist to the centuries old Czech dishes.

With the menu that features some popular crowd pleasers, like Bramborak & Goulash ( potato pancake filled with saucy beef goulash), Classic Wiener schnitzel, Pork Hock braised in dark Czechvar. Our sauerkraut and red cabbage are to die for.

“ Our mission is to capture the warmth and elegance of Czech and Slovak culture. There are very few authentic Czech and Slovak restaurants in Canada. Not to come and experiment with new flavors and dishes is a missed opportunity.”

Schnitzel was overcooked.seems like a batch cooked maybe day before or earlier then heated up again.

We enjoyed a satisfying meal, in comfortable surroundings, served by a wonderful waitress. I won't hesitate to recommend the Prague Restaurant to anyone interested in finding a hidden gem.

Lovely schnitzel restaurant in a hidden valley of Scarborough near Guildwood. Food was good - we had the Bohemian platter which consisted of pork schnitzel, roast pork, sausage and heaping sides of potatoes, sauerkraut, and red cabbage. Service was a little slow at times - odd especially given the staff to customer ratio - but friendly. Will return to check out other items on this Czech menu..

The pork hock is the star I came here for and it doesn't disappoint. Too bad my appetite isn't what it used to be. Paired with the beef Goulash and it's a meat lovers paradise. The pork is so soft and the skin a little chewy paired with mustard and the various peppers and pickles is a unique flavour. While the chicken egg noodle dish was delicious, but I recommend if you come here get the chicken schnitzel instead.

One comment on an otherwise excellent dinner/experience - please do not give plain rye bread and one pat of butter at the start of us sitting down - I think everyone expects warm rolls and adequate butter. This would not add a lot to your budget. And two rolls per person please - people are hungry at first and it is always a while before the entree is served (no problem with that, please don’t take this as a negative comment on your service). Have been to the Prague a few times lately and found it very good. I look forward to the warm rolls on my next visit. Thanks and Happy Christmas!

Really great place for dinner. Very authentic European and the prices were very good as well. You can really tell all of the food, including gravy and extras are made in house. Special requests and changes to platters were no problem, and the bar made us specialty hot drinks without any hesitation at no extra cost. Excellent hosts who were attentive and knowledgeable. Will absolutely visit again.
