We have dined here on special occasions many times in the main dining room and it never disappoints. Based on recommendations from a good friend we tried happy hour in the bar (they take reservations for happy hour). First we had a couple of cocktails then we shared a small chopped salad which they split in the kitchen which is always a nice touch and finally had the famous Preston burger also split in the kitchen. I arrived to find my chosen spot ready for me. I had great service by all 3 bartenders. The food was excellent. And, the wine I chose was on sale!!! We had a great time on New Year’s Eve at Preston’s. Our server was pleasant and welcoming. We had two steaks; one was perfect and one was overcooked. The manager came over and said he would get me a new one right away. He came over in less than 10 minutes with a new steak that was cooked perfectly the way I liked and it was sizzling with full flavor!! I can’t say enough about their great attitude and top notch customer service! We are very picky about steak and have eaten at hundreds of fancy steak houses in the US; Preston’s certainly is at the top of the class! Party of 4 for NYE dinner. Highlights were crab cakes, filets, and the swordfish. All were outstanding. Sides were good, but I wouldn't say as good as some other high-end steakhouses in the valley- (Dominick's, Steak 44). We had butter cake and a double chocolate cake which were both very good.
