The Upper East Side is getting a fully rebranded steakhouse, Primal Cut,
operated by the owners of Sapphire Gentleman’s Club. Anticipating a late summer completion, the enhanced restaurant will host a 60 seat dining area and large bar.

Josh Held is spearheading the new design bringing smoked oak flooring, granite tabletops, and sleek bronze details to the space where Prime 333 enjoyed seven years of success.

The menu will focus on elevated steakhouse staples with fresh and seasonal additions. Signature dishes will include a warm lobster salad, double-cut lamb chops, and plenty cuts of the highest quality, including a Tomahawk Ribeye for two.

Steak was burnt & I couldn't eat in peace. I get its a strip club, but they make it seem as if its two separate rooms. $10 for a bottle of water? please. Never again. this restaurant isn't going to last long at that rate. The food isn't even good. I am disappointed in this restaurant, finding out the guys behind the idea are New Jersey natives. Huge disgrace to a business concept...

I dined at Primal Cut for the first time, and had a terrific meal. The dining room has subtle but stylish decor. I had the beet salad, the salmon with quinoa, and the butter cake for dessert. They were all delicious. The service was excellent and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and portions.

I loved the restaurant!!, however they don't tell you that half naked strippers will be walking around the restaurant because its next door to a strip club. Its a great place, but they need to decide whether to keep it classy or somewhat trashy as far as ambiance, keep the stripper one side. Food was good, I enjoyed my crab cake. Lobster mac was to die for.

Surprisingly, the food was great, the service and ambiance not so great. This is not a regular restaurant. We ended up in this place by accident.

Was surprised to find ou that Primal Cut is inside Sapphire whis a 'gentlemans club". That was no problem at all just a surprise.The steak house is not quite up to par with the major NYC steakhouse however still good

We - two female executives - went to this place on the recommendation of Time Out, which rated their lobster mac and cheese best in NYC. At the skanky exterior, we were greeted by a bouncer, who informed us it was a gentleman’s club with strippers! He suggested we would not be comfortable there (agreed!) leaving ua to hastily make other arrangments for our business dinner. This “special feature” of this restaurant should have been made clear on their website and in the Time Out review
