Lovely early evening 2 course meal was lovely and really good value for money. Our service was a bit slower than others but we had time and were not rushed

Excellent Sunday Roast! Service was attentive without being intrusive. (Why do restaurants charge extra for a wee dram of gravy on the side, and at £3 it seemed excessive.) The dining room is small and the tables close, so the noise level is quite loud from neighboring tables. Overall an excellent experience.

Great food selected from an excellent menu. Very good value for money and lovely member of staff who was helpful, friendly and professional. Will definitely visit again soon.

Really disappointed with the value for money. £19 for a 3inch piece of cod, 4 cherry tomatoes and one singular slice of aubergine, that was literally it! The cod was very basic wasn’t “blackened” like it said. The duck was £27 for two slices of duck and a wee pot of sausage and veg with a crispy potato top. It was good quality food no problems with the taste and I appreciate costs are a lot but unfortunately we won’t be back with such poor value for money. Really disappointing.

This was our first time at Prime. The food, service and atmosphere was very good indeed. Our server, Aloysius, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and the service is by far the best we have had in a while, the staff are a credit to you.

The atmosphere at Prime is was really great - a nicer sit down place in a city of casual pubs. The menu offered a greater variety than many of the others that only offered limited Scottish fare. The service was very good and friendly. But we were disappointed in the food - it was under-seasoned and underwhelming. I really wanted to enjoy my lobster thermador but the lobster chunks were mushy and it all just tasted of cheese, not seafood
