Puritan & Company, led by Chef-owner Will Gilson, serves modern American cuisine, with particular emphasis on traditional New England fare, and not without occasional excursions into other ethnic ingredients and styles. Our mainstays are ingredients sourced from farms we know and locally to the extent possible, and always a sense of fun.

Our dining room is a casual and fun place to dine. We love to share our excitement about the food and wine we serve like we would in our own home. Guests and their friends should feel comfortable in our friendly and even familial environment as we make our food and guest the number one focus.

Our next door space, Puritan Oyster Bar, offers limited reservations via puritancambridge.com

    Food was wonderful especially the sides (brussel sprouts and carrots were our favs). Had the pasta, risotto and ribeye. The ribeye was the weakest of the entrees. Pricey but one of the better dining options in Cambridge.

    Jorge was the absolute greatest. Food was excellent. Really glad we went here on our first Boston trip. Would highly recommend.

    We lucked out and our server Sarah was also in charge of the wine list. In addition to being friendly and a good server, she talked knowledgeably and enthusiastically about what she was doing to bring lesser known varietals to the wine list. The food was also really good, an improvement over our first experience there years ago when we were unimpressed.

    We had a 1:45 brunch reservation and were given 10 minutes to order. It was rushed, and our food came to us cold. If your kitchen closes at 2, stop taking reservations after 1:30.

    Started with beautiful, complex cocktails, followed by perfect Parker Houdr rolls, an interesting assortment of delicious apps, and then phenomenal crab pasta and swordfish. All made better by spectacular service. We will be back!!
