Q1227 Restaurant is trailblazing a new genre we're calling California Comfort Food. Our entrees are designed from California's freshest ingredients, embodied with bold, succulent flavors. Chef Q embraced his native Florida roots and have created dishes that are wrapped in California's fresh fruit and vegetables. Some house favorites are our Q1227 Chicken Fried Lobster Bites, our Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, our phenomenal Grilled Seafood Platter and finishing the night off with our Bourbon Street Bread Pudding.

Q1227 Restaurant offers three dining areas; inside, covered patio and extended patio. Upon your arrival you can request your preference and we will do all possible to accommodate. However, accommodations are based on first come, first serve.

I Had the shrimp & Grits, I like it, however, as I never had fried shrimp on the grits, I didn't think to ask how prepared, I like fried shrimp, however, I would have liked them not fried on the grits. The dish was good, my Dad liked the whole fish, Mac & cheese was very good, I kiked the okra. The staff was very attentive to my Dad it being his 93rd Birthday, as it seemed like everyone was aware, I would have liked Chef Q to come to the table, I saw him many times standing very near by. The Hub magazine has already done a review on the old location, the CEO has been to the new one I believe. This was my 1st time, I have been with th magazine 19 years. If doing a review, I would giv this spot a high rating. I plan to come back to try more dishes. One concern was the womens restroom and the wall soap dispensers being empty & or not working properly, and for the class of the restaraunt, that very inexpensive soap bottle on the counter wasn't working very well either, which made me wonder, how is the wait & kitchen staff or any staff thourougly washing thier hands!!

Reservation time should be adhered to and I should not have to wait to be seated. We chose Q1227 to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary and while several people wished us a happy anniversary, but it would have been nice to be comped a dessert or glass of champagne. We ordered food only to learn that what we wanted was out of stock and we believe we should have been notified of this before we ordered. Lastly, We are good tippers and we do not care to be charged 18% gratuity for a party of 2. Had we received a free glass of champagne or a free dessert, we would have tipped more than the 18% we were forced to pay

Took some friends for their first time and it was just wonderful. The chef comped some chicken drumsticks that were excellent and a nice treat!

In the past, this restaurant has offered an exceptional experience, with top-notch service, delightful drinks, and delectable food. Unfortunately, our latest visit did not measure up. On a Tuesday evening, the restaurant had “run out of” all but one red wine option (which happened to be the house wine and was quite disappointing). Additionally, several menu items were unavailable and our order had a mix-up. While we understand that seasoning preferences can vary, all three of our entrées were excessively salty, making them nearly inedible. We are unsure if this was simply an off night or if the restaurant's recent expansion and relocation have impacted the quality. Disappointed.
