Our annual NYE celebration returns to Rail House Victoria this year, with a fiesta worthy of ringing in 2025, featuring live music and DJ sets to take us through to midnight and beyond. Party with us at the bar. Walk-ins are more than welcome, though wristbands are available exclusively to those who pre-book. Go for the £20 'Thirsty Gringo' wristband and £8 Classic Margs, Passion Fruit Palomas and Riding House Micheladas all night and a shot of Cazcabel Blanco tequila when the clock strikes 12. Otherwise, the £30 'Hungry Gringo' wristband gives you all of the above, plus your choice of two of our special small plates, as and when you are ready to order. All three cocktails will be available to those without wristbands for £12.50ea.

Small portions and expensive . No mention that we were celebrating my son’s birthday . My glass of sparkling wine was flat and was replaced,then my cider was flat , but I couldn’t be bothered to complain. £200 for an average meal ( included a13% service charge) I won’t be visiting again

We booked this restaurant as the first part of our Christmas day out, and the building and ambience was lovely. The inside is well decorated and has a cool vibe. The front of house was friendly. Initially our table was in a section of the restaurant that was quite cramped and our table for two was right next to a step and the waiters station. I did feel uncomfortable as I felt in the way of customers and service staff trying to get through. As our waiter came over to attend to us, I asked if it would be possible to move tables and he went straight away to enquire. This was no problem for the front of house and moved us into the main hub of the restaurant near the window. The food was good quality, good size and very tasty. I ordered the full breakfast with a side of macaroni cheese (with truffle) which was amazing. My husband ordered the burgerdict which looked nice, the only criticism was that burger was dry. Our waiter in this section let down the service overall as they were slow and not particularly friendly. We ordered hot drinks and asked for tap water which did not arrive. One point I started to cough and my husband asked the waiter for water again, and he was very slow to the point where the table next us offered us their water to relive my cough - very kin of them! Eventually at the end of our meal and after waiting a long time we received our table water and bill. This was a shame as the other staff were really helpful especially during such a busy time of year. I would go again, but the service needs to be consistent as this lets the other workers in the restaurant down.

The staff went above and beyond. Fabulous night. We had several small sharing plates with drinks and every dish was great.

I arrived to a warm and personal accueil from a personable gentleman I presumed was the manager and offered the services of a cloakroom. I was quickly shown to my table, the service was prompt, attentive but not intrusive. The breakfast was sublime with fresh, imaginative and good quality ingredients all served at the right temperature. A smart but relaxed ambience made for a very pleasant contemplative breakfast away from the rush-hour madding crowds. I shall return. Thank you.

I think the food is quite expensive - the cod portion was tiny and didn’t come with anything

The venue is lovely really pretty at Christmas but omg the food is poor. For £50 pp set menu the amount of food is really lacking. I ordered the duck starter which was just 4 slices of cold duck, needed a salad or something. The main I had was chicken schnitzel which was bland but the carrots and beans that came as a side was nice, dessert was 3 cheap donut balls and sauce- for £30pp okay, but £50? That’s wild. £58 if you include the service charge Also my colleague ordered a bubblegum cocktail which was meant to have gin and amaretto, and it came in a Prosecco glass- thick and creamy white liquid that had a dried strawberry floating in the middle. It was bad and weird.
