              A small group of us have been coming to the Railway pub in Port Melbourne since 2014 for regular Sunday catch ups. Plenty of food and drink options and a lively atmosphere. Bit quiet on most recent visit. Hope the locals return with the start of AFL.

              $25 porterhouse was cooked pretty well (ordered medium rare), nice and juicy on the outsides and ends but a little dry in the middle, seasoned well and taste great with a nice sear. The salad was a very basic lettuce, cucumber and onion. The salad presented and tasted old with wilted salad leaves and questionable cucumber. The fresh fries were stale, dry, over salted and barely warm. If I was to guess, I would say they were definitely reheated. Mushroom sauce was quite subtle but nice flavours, a bit steep as a $3 option though. 5:30pm booking, not a lot of pressure on a mostly empty venue and I might have expected a little more. Willing to give this place another shot as I believe they have the potential to get it right. $14 wine & $6 Coke $73 dinner, not bad but could definitely be a lot better with a little extra attention

              Menu has lost some of our favourite items. Food service very slow despite only 3 tables full. Potato chips were soggy.

              A great working dinner - friendly and prompt service with good quality pub food. Reasonably priced range of wines. Will return!

              Always a family favourite! Great, relaxed vibe, Sunday roast is amazing. Terrific for little kids - kids menu, activity & colouring in sheet & a supply of coloured pencils to keep them amused. Then we all finished the afternoon off playing pinball/pool etc in the games room. 3 generations all having fun. 🤩
