Greetings, first arriving for reservations and seating at table was a good experience.
Once seated with the promise of water, in which lemon wedges were requested, we waited nearly 15 minutes for server/waitress. Once wait person arrived a lack of water was discovered and wait person had to water. Lemon wedges came after a wait of nearly 10 minutes. It appeared as though wait person was relatively new to restaurant and/or position.
Then came the appetizer and drink orders, this was fairly smooth until the part where I was never asked or offered a drink, it felt like 15 or more minutes to get drinks. From my sight line to the bar it did not appear busy for the timeline it took to get two drinks.
Main course, two out of three guests at my table wanted Risotto with a lobster tail added. Wait person was not clear if this could be done, however, orders were placed under the assumption that lobster tail could be be added. A few minutes later passed by and we were informed that the restaurant was out of lobster tails. At that point one Risotto order was cancelled and the other changed to Risotto with scallops. Mind you this table are big fans of Gordon Ramsay and his television shows in which Risotto is a highly acclaimed dish. The risotto came out of extremely salty not edible salty and for this particular guest it was the second bad experience at a Gordon Ramsay eatery.
The wait person expeditiously offered and removed the Risotto dish from the check.
I am not sure about dining at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in the future, it’s nothing like his TV shows.
