    It started with a 19 person reservation and eventually ballooned to 22. They were able to accommodate but I was dismissively told to just change the reservation myself on OpenTable- which of course was not possible for large reservations. And besides, when a customer calls a restaurant to request to increase the number of patrons, the answer shouldn't be, "you can do it online", it should be "no problem I can help you with that". Anyway, things got settled and the dinner happened without a hitch. Food was excellent and very affordable for Hawaii. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Most of my invitees had never heard of it. I have been a long time patron of the restaurant, and have taken other large groups to this restaurant before and the quality of food has been excellent (except the one time when they switched the salad dressing in their papaya salad for a bottled salad dressing- fortunately they had learned their mistake and switched it back).

    Truly delicious food, excellent cocktails, and great service! The portions were quite generous, so we're enjoying the leftovers today.

    The food at Rangoon is fantastic and the staff exceptional. It was a little noisy, but that’s just proof it’s a place people want to go. I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

    It was super busy the evening we arrived. Probably not enough servers. Servers did apologize and were really nice. We had a 6:30 reservation and our order wasnt taken until slmost 7 pm. However, the food was AMAZING. Loved the coconut rice, lamb curry with eggplant, the stuffed tofu and the tea leaf salad. Every bite was delicious. Definitely will go back again… we’ll just plan to take our time and go on a less busy night.

    Perhaps one of the BEST meals in my life!!! Was a bit hesitant to try, due to some negative reviews about the service, but SO glad to try! The entire evening was just superb! Every single server (we had 3 various ones) were SO pleasant and attentive it was really enjoyable. The food: we ordered the coconut curry shrimp 10/10. The basil eggplant 10/10. The pot with rice and all kinds of flavors with the pastry top 10/10. Nothing at all was disappointing and can’t wait to go back. The flavors in EACH dish were unique and so robust. Must try!!!! Also, great decor!
