Fragrant aromas of red cherry, cranberry, and cassis sit alongside lifted dusty rose and tobacco leaf, while crushed stone and minerality support the vibrant fruit. The wine finishes long, smooth, and round with nuanced hints of graphite, clove spice, and earthy minerality. Penfolds Cabernet Shiraz Savoury nuances of freshly sliced fennel, pan wilted raddichio leaf and pickled turnips. Red liquorice and cherry provide a sweet counterpoint. Evolved tannins seamlessly drive the structure. A well-defined focus on the palate. Pessimist Red Blend This wine is powerful and intensely aromatic out of the glass, presenting fragrances of blueberry, boysenberry and black plum. Massive in weight yet elegantly structured, this wine is a powerhouse that reveals itself gradually yet deliberately. It finishes smoothly with leisure and length, on notes of blackberry, espresso bean and pomegranate. Stags Leap Petite Syrah Captivates with a fragrant nose of bramble berry fruit, freshly baked blackberry pie, boysenberry, black plum, and black cherry cobbler, with hints of graham cracker crust, lifted lavender, and thyme.
