We seek to share the story of Harlem with our guests and offer a space that celebrates local artists, musicians and culinary talents alike. We embrace today's Harlem with a spirit of inclusiveness and community by hiring our family of staff from within the community, inspiring better eating through neighborhood cooking classes, and buying from local purveyors.

We had such a good time. Didn't know the band was starting that early, but it was awesome. The food was exceptionally goof, and better than my previous visit during the summer. It's now officially on my favorite list for local spots!

Been trying to get to Red Rooster for 2 years following the NYCFWF when Marcus Samuelson & Jonathan Waxman hosted a fabulous event we attended. We finally made it and everything was outstanding! We enjoyed the Yes Chef and Roo Roo’s Red Sangria, butternut squash & coconut soup, shrimp & grits and the buccatini Piccadilly . Each course was innovative and balanced. The staff are all super heros. Bravo Marcus & Team!

The food quality was excellent the amount of food was sufficient but it was a bit pricey a shared entree and 1 appetizer (seafood Chowder steak frites) almost $100 no real complaints

Loved every minute and my pan fried catfish was divine. Loved Ryan at the bar, the band was great and it was an overall wonderful experience

Top notch southern fare. Don't skimp on the side dishes and always a congenial atmosphere and charming wait staff.
