Redsalt Restaurant, located in Canberra city at Crowne Plaza Canberra, is open daily for breakfast and dinner. The restaurant overlooks a leafy terrace adjacent to Glebe Park.

The a la carte dinner menu offers a range of seasonal dishes, with a focus on regional produce. Diners with specific dietary needs are catered for and a children’s menu is available. For a healthy meal option, choose one of the popular grill items, served with a side dish of your choice.

Whether you have 2 or 100 colleagues to celebrate with this festive season Crowne Plaza Canberra is the perfect venue. For smaller groups we recommend our buffet lunch, book a table and enjoy a Christmas themed buffet with all the festive trimmings, seating from 12pm to 2pm. Bookings essential - available 6th & 13th December For private events please contact the hotel directly. Our Redsalt Restaurant will be themed for the occasion with decorations, inclusive of our favourite Christmas Bon Bons. $72 includes a glass of bubbles on arrival.

A very central location, team members were good and food was appetising. Needed to remind team members from time to time about deserts. We have eaten whilst staying at the hotel on 4 consecutive occasions.

The food was very poor, cold and dried out. What was provided for the cost was very overrated and definitely not worth it. Staff seem to have very little idea of what was going on. The amount and the type of food was extremely dissatisfactory.

Very slow service. Entree plates not removed before main meal was served. Food was slow to come out and not cooked well. Drink service was slow.

We visited for the breakfast buffet and had the most amazing service. Two of the guys were so friendly and attentive. Best service we’ve seen for ages and totally unexpected at a breakfast buffet!

Buffet breakfast, first round of coffees unfortunately weren’t hot. 2nd were better and staff apologised. Eggs were cooked to order - 1 was poached perfect the other overcooked. Nice bircher, yoghurt and fruit. Were seated at a window with the blinds closed till I asked them to be opened.

Ordered our food as soon as we sat down at our table so expected it to come out an efficient time however it took over an hour for it to arrive. We had 3 kids with us and had to take them away from the restaurant to walk around and waste time because they were hungry and getting a little impatient. Restaurant was not busy at all. Food was ok when it arrived however I ordered the gnocchi and it was cold. Kids burger was good but the crumbed chicken was two small pieces of chicken so not worth the $21. Would not go back and would not recommend to anyone to eat there

Pasta was over cooked, although the dish was tasty. Had the prawn linguine. Table service was slow and didn’t offer me another drink to have with my meal. Cocktail was meh

We were a party of 4 and 2 of us had the Scallops. We felt that there was too much Chorizo and it over-powered the flavour of the Scallop. As for the main course, they were delivered before the starters had even settled and also plates had been removed and we would have preferred more of a gap between courses. Otherwise the food was enjoyable overall
