Located just a few meters from the Duomo in Florence, Regina Bistecca is a restaurant dedicated to the true “bistecca alla fiorentina” and traditional Florentine food culture.
For over 140 years the same address has been the location for the antiquarian bookseller Gonnelli, which has been in the same family for four generations and has now relocated.
Although nowadays offering something different, the objective was to preserve and maintain the unique atmosphere of a historical place in which to offer a gratifying experience merging food, art, and history.

    Unbelievable steak! They bring out the different varieties of steak so you can see the marbling and make your selection. The steak has a perfect crust and the smell from the charcoal grill is magnificent. Gratin potatoes with truffle are highly recommended. Deserts were nothing special. Service was great. The only negative is the background music. It was 80’s elevator music and took away from the ambiance.

    Molto buoni gli antipasti. Fiorentina di ottima qualità ma cottura da rivedere. Nel complesso comunque un’ottima esperienza. Servizio veloce e di qualità.

    Bel locale e buon servizio. Secondo me un po' caro, soprattutto se si sceglie il menù del Buon Ricordo proposto obbligatoriamente per due persone a €174,00. Troppo. Si spende meno, forse, ordinando alla carta.

    For such a location and well known place the staff was very attentive and the service flowed throughout, from welcome fro g to final final limoncello. The meat was cooked as I requested (with no fuss) and was delicious. A great place to sit at the bar as well.

    Pranzo di famiglia con bistecca alla fiorentina speciale, carciofi fritti molto buoni e dolci davvero top. Servizio impeccabile ma in atmosfera rilassante. Molto consigliato
