Remington’s was great! We didn’t realize it was tree lighting so we had to fight a crowd to get there but it eas worth it. Nice place for pre theatre shoe.

This first time I was here I had a turkey burger and it was amazing! This time I had the salmon and it was extremely dry! Even the broccoli on the plate was so charred, and tasted completely burnt. I’ll never do the fish here again… I’ll just stick to turkey burgers. Lol The deviled eggs are nice, the shrimp was just okay and the Prosecco was flat. Nothing to brag about in the food department. The service was incredible though!

This is a go to American restaurant, consistent food, a new menu recently that continues to have many options, good service. Love the ambience, not too noisy and it at the height of the bar scene time would ask to sit in the back to have a reduced noise.

The table was small for (5) people. The portions were small especially based on the price. Food was good, not great. We were served, but waitress didn’t check back to see how things were. It was a birthday - but the restaurant had no non dairy options .. mediocre..

Just okay all the way around. Our server was fine , he informed us of the 3 dishes they were out of and substitutes.

Just ok. Nothing horrible but nothing great. Not worth the price. Other options with similar pricing have better tasting food. Service and ambiance solid.

We have visited Remington's multiple times. The food and service are always excellent. This time, we missed out on our favorite dish (short rib ragu), as it was unavailable, but our second choices were exceptional as well. The pork chop was probably the best we have ever had.

Food was very good, the French fries alone may have been the best ever! We had a burger and a salad and both were plentiful. And an old timer like me enjoyed a pint of Schlitz on tap! Definitely would come back every time I’m in Chicago!

First of all, Kirk was an exceptional server and completely made our entire evening! He was on top of recommendations, and went out of his way to find two perfect wines for us. Kirk was calm, cool, collected and very professional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and took really good care of our table. We had an out of town guest and he was quite impressed with the fare, ambiance, selection of bourbons and wines, and the overall experience. I love taking guests to Remington's because it is a guaranteed EXCELLENT dining experience in downtown Chicago. They also have a ton of gorgeous private dining rooms, and the booths are so comfortable you feel like you are in your own world. We loved the Spaetzle Mac & Cheese so much we ordered it twice in one evening. The oysters were fresh, the Rigatoni special was immaculate, the Lobster deviled eggs were divine, and the charred broccolini was heavenly. If it was considered healthy to do so, I would eat here every night. Cannot wait to return!
