Thank you so much it was for my parents 65th anniversary, the service was fantastic the girls went out of their way to make it a memorable experience and the food was just as good. It was better than a cream tea I had a few weeks ago that was 3 times the cost. And you can’t beat that view, it was a lovely afternoon that I throughly recommend

Overall a good experience. The food was delicious, well presented and good portions. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised and look forward to returning again.

We booked via open table although we were staying at the hotel. We asked reception when we needed to pay for the tea. They said we could pay on the day or on our final bill. I asked for it to be put on our final hotel bill. Our afternoon tea was lovely taste wise overall, plenty of sandwiches and the cakes were yummy. The sausage roll was good but the savory tarts were missing. We enjoyed the selection of jam and lemon curd with the scones. Beautiful views over the bay and it was very relaxed. Service was slow to non existent and could have done with being checked on at some point. We settled the bill with the hotel reception at the end of our stay and made our comments and the hotel agreed to adjust our final bill which was satisfactory. We would return again, as the afternoon tea was delicious and great selection., hopefully the service will be better next time.

Beautiful surroundings, nothing was too much trouble. Food choices were excellent and plentiful. Waiting team were friendly and efficient, and once again nothing was too much trouble. Table was perfect overlooking the sea. A Great afternoon tea that I would recommend.

The hotel restaurant itself is very lush with breathtaking sea views. There is something definitely lacking with the service. The staff are so slow and unbothered. Iv had better service at Nando’s honestly. It’s such a beautiful place please consider hiring more energetic and vibrant staff

Unfortunately the service was very slow and we had to wait nearly an hour before the afternoon tea arrived at the table.

Excellent tea. Plenty to eat, delicious delicately made smoked salmon, cucumber, and other sandwiches, cream tea included as well with good quality jam and lemon curd. Individual cakes, again delicious and tea made with tea leaves, not teabags. Only letdown was the service. The hotel is obviously short staffed and the very nice waitress was rushed off her feet. However we had plenty of time so it was not a problem for us.

Sandwiches going hard as left out to long, sausage rolls like warm. Service took 45 minutes even though I had booked. No table was ready for us. Not asked if we would like a variety of tea. Had tea so long before Sandwiches it had gone cold, we had to ask for new tea. Not good value for money. We will not be going again. Not a nice a experience. Such a shame as we were really looking forward to it.

Really poor service. Limited menu but two out of the five main dishes weren't available. The children's meal was delivered with few of the key items missing. Took almost three hours to have two courses, that's how slow the service was. Table next to us were waiting for an hour just for their starter. The restaurant was only 20% full, so no idea why it took so long. Spoke to the manager, who apologised and reduced the bill accordingly. Best to avoid this place.
