August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.

OpenTable美食編輯： August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

    At Restaurant August, our Upstairs Private Dining Room can seat up to 100 guests for a reception-style event. The Chef's Tasting Room can seat 12 and features a customized Tasting Menu. Wines can be paired by our sommelier for a more unique experience. Buyouts are also available for up to 300.

                                                      Service was quick and wonderful, food was coursed well for a filling but not enormous meal. Pricing is a little high compared to similar restaurants but well worth it. Great wine list.

                                                      Despite adequate staff, our service was poor. Server only came to greet and take order. Absolutely nothing after that. Out of six courses, three of them were either overcooked or dry (not that our server asked how anything was).The other three were absolutely fantastic! We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. It was a disappointment.
