August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.

OpenTable美食編輯： August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

    At Restaurant August, our Upstairs Private Dining Room can seat up to 100 guests for a reception-style event. The Chef's Tasting Room can seat 12 and features a customized Tasting Menu. Wines can be paired by our sommelier for a more unique experience. Buyouts are also available for up to 300.

    Restaurant August presents our Chef's Tasting Menu - a journey through eight dishes to encapsulate the August experience including Fruits de Mer, Spoon Bread & Caviar, Pan-Seared Diver Scallop, Squab Dirty Rice, Grilled A5 Wagyu, Lemon Myrtle Ice Cream, and "Root Beer Float." This menu is $185 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Enhance your meal with a thoughtful and intentional wine pairing with six courses, +$110 per person.

                                                      The waiting staff was excellent all around. Their pace was perfect, they very kind, respectful and welcoming. The food was nothing short of amazing. I had the royal red shrimp, escargot and then finished with blackened grouper. Every dish was presented with precision and every bite’s flavor reflected that. I’ll be coming back every time I am in town.

                                                      Quiet, well-kept surroundings. The staff are very attentive, but the real jewel of this restaurant is the cuisine: refined, fresh and harmonious. It's rare to find standards of comparable quality in the United States, even during the holidays! Being French and a member of the Italian Academy of Cuisine, I can only say, bravo!

                                                      Compared to American standards, food was definitely good. Compared to European standards food was at most mediocre and extremely overpriced. You could dine at great Michelin restaurants for these kind of money, but this restaurant is far from Michelin level.

                                                      Staff went out of their way to make sure that our experience was the best it could be. Kudos to them on their approach without being intrusive but complimentary. Food was delicious and left you wanting more. You can find good food everywhere but the complement of the excellent service is what stood out from third place.
