A modern, Australian twist on classic Italian dishes, Restaurant Two14 melds your firm favourites with new flavours with plates full of personality.

Step through the doors of Deco Hotel and into the ground floor restaurant, as the contemporary chic setting sets the stage for a delicious meal.

The menu is specially curated by Head Chef Federico Pitasi, who has an extraordinary ability to craft unique flavours derived from his Italian heritage and subsequent sourcing of ingredients from the regions where he was raised. Namely, Chef Federico has painstakingly sourced many Italian ingredients with Italy's prestigious D.O.P. certification.

Complimentary parking available to all of our Two14 guests. Enjoy free parking in a secure & underground car park at Deco Hotel. Simply visit our reception once you arrive to collect a validation ticket.

Restaurant Two14 caters for private events in the restaurant and bar, contact directly for more information.

    Very unsatisfactory meals of pasta with seafood which was barely there and fish and chips which was more batter than fish. We would not eat there again.

    The restaurant was lovely, overall ambience was nice and Staff was very helpful. We had steaks for dinner they cooked beautifully and the flavour was delicious. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

    Good hotel dinner options, food was good. Rather basic Chaires/tables etc. service was ok but staff “remembering” orders doesn’t always work…bread order forgotten. White wine bottle served was not cold with staff insisting it would cool in ice bucket…changed order to something that was cold. We also had breakfast following day and a good hotel buffet with sufficient options. Table clearing slow though. All suggests maybe have some trouble getting staff…like everywhere at the moment perhaps. But would go again!

    good location, limited menu choices but sufficient enough for this type of restaurant. Staff are kept very busy doing just about everything from barista, bar and table service. Menu can be a little mis-leading we ordered the Eye Fillet 200g - Black Angus served with mixed vegetables, red wine jus - there was no jus and the vegetables were basically stewed small cubes in what can only be described as a ragout of sorts, could not identify what vegetables were in this ragout. So who knows what the mixed vegies were, it just tasted like a tomato based ragout with very small cubes of something. Meat was tender, antipasti we chose was Parmigiana di melanzane - purple eggplant, tomato sugo, basil genovese, buffalo, focaccia. was OK - don't really think they used buffalo cheese, Seemed more like melted cheddar cheese, My dessert choice was Torta della Nonna - shortcrust pastry, citrus, ricotta, pine nuts, berry coulis, lemon sorbet, it was nicer than my husband's choice of Tortino al cioccolato - chocolate fondant, coconut gelato, raspberry coulis fairy floss. The Fondant was the shortest/smallest ever with the teeeniest amount of melted chocolate, and the kitchen omitted the fairy floss, so husband was disappointed. We did not say anything because there seemed no point to do so. BUT we will return and sample other items on the menu as overall it was a nice night for my Birthday and the staff were pleasant and efficient.

    We had a nice evening meal at Two14. It was convenient to eat here as I was staying at Deco Hotel. The food was quite good, not outstanding, but fine. The service was good. The ambience is not that great though - the decor and lighting feels more like what you’d expect at a factory canteen, than what you’d expect at a restaurant in a quality hotel. Overall, a decent meal in a convenient location.

    We stayed at the Deco hotel and didn't feel like going out for dinner. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. They were quick to rectify a mistake with a genuine apology. The service, food and welcoming atmosphere, will mean I will dine again Two 14 when we return to Canberra next.

    We recently went to a TAFE dinner that was part of a hospitality and cooking class assessment which we were required to assess. The staff st Restuarant 214 were absolute professionals,exhibiting all the required skills that make a dining experience a special one. Fom my observation the wait staff treated each other appropriately and politely. I jave been to a so called top restaurant where staff were yelled at, you heard disturbances from the kitchen and staff were surly. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. Our dinner at Restaurant 224 was totally enjoyable and I strongly recommend it for a great night out.

    We were a party of four and only two of us felt it was worth the effort to empty their plate. The food was bland, some over cooked, some under cooked. An absolute let down. Fortunately, the wine list was ok.
