    Out of a lot on the menu. Brought out an unsuitable substitute dinner without first letting us know a meal was unavailable and then without asking for a preference. I think the lobster bisque may have been diluted tomato with stale croutons-not appetizing. The high point was the root salad. Amazing and delicious. Also, chicken added to salad was freezer burned and rubbery and nasty. The staff was ok, seemed tired of the season. I can understand that. Go elsewhere. Expensive and underwhelmed.

    The food was good, and our server George was friendly and helpful. It was a little expensive, but it feels like everything is expensive in Alaska.

    Steak was tough and potatoes and rice were cool instead of hot. For the price should be better. Salad was very good

    Great restaurant to visit during our Alaska vacation and three days in Seward. The location is scenic, the atmosphere warm and attractive inside, the food and service is excellent and our reservation enabled us to get seated immediately whereas there was a wait for those who had not made reservations. Strongly recommended!

    Everything met expectations with the exception of the waiter being pulled by both arms. He could not keep his focus on us!!
