Riccardo's Ristorante is a family run business in the North End of Boston, across from Paul Revere's House. It has been recognized by local and national known food critiques as one of the best authentic Italian Restaurants in Boston. Now being run by Richie Jr., Riccardo's has the same fine standards and quality of food as always. The staff is highly trained and knowledgeable about every item on the menu.     The service was amazing. We sat upstairs with fantastic service. Great recommendations, attentive but not intrusive. Food was spectacular. We will definitely go back!

    Excellent!! The service, the food, ambience, everything was so good. We got the gnocchi, the bolognese & lobster ravioli; all superb. The meatballs for an appetizer were also awesome. Nicely decorated for the holidays, festive & right near Paul Revere’s house. Loved it here!

    The overall experience was outstanding. From the staff to the food, definitely going back and would highly recommend. Great spot!

    Everything was great. Servers were attentive and helpful. We were celebrating a retirement and our server provided us with a chocolate liqueur to go with the cake we brought with us at no cost. I would go back again. I only wish they had valet parking.

    I rated the noise level as energetic due to my group. We came for our team holiday dinner and there were 10 of us and we were a rowdy group. The appetizers came out hot and fresh and we dove right in, starving from a long work day. We laughed so hard, shared bottles of wine, and our server Ben was incredible and was so attentive. Everyone ordered different entrees and two got the daily special and all loved their meal. Will definitely be back!

    This is exactly what you’d want for a traditional delicious Italian dinner in the beautiful North End! I’m so grateful to the hostess and staff because my reservation head count kept changing (people calling out sick) and they were so gracious and understanding. We (those who actually showed up) had a delightful meal and lovely evening.

    Great atmosphere although they need a double entryway for the winter. Very cold as people coming in left door open.. Good food except for calamari. It was very tough. All in it was a nice night out with our family.

    The food we had tasted good but everything was cold or room temp. The espresso was not good and the cup that wasn’t in contact with the coffee was cold, as if someone went down the street to another restaurant and brought it back. I would say that Riccardo’s is your typical tourist red sauce joint-decent cheesey-saucey fried food with overcooked pasta and overpriced, but hey it’s the North End.
