Rise Woodfire Santa Clara is a 300-seat restaurant offering an elevated comfort food experience in the South Bay! Local and family-owned, our concept was born out of our owners Omid and Susan’s passion for people, pizza, and wood-fired cooking. Our menu is an unexpected yet delicious combo of Wood-Fired Pizza, Rotisserie Plates, and Homemade Pies. We’re proud to use the best ingredients and unique dough recipes to create mouth-watering gems and to craft Signature Cocktails at our beautiful bar. Bartender Daniel was excellent! We opted to stay at the bar for dinner than to move to our table. Food was excellent with generous portions. We'll be back!

I hope this place lasts! Definitely not worth spending $70! Pizza was mushy tomato sauce tasted like it was out of a can. Ugh!

Outstanding dinner with the family last weekend! The brussels sprouts are just to die for and I don't think I've ever had any better than that. The hummus appetizer was a big hit for everyone. I had a small garden salad and the dressing was a little bit bland but it was still good. Everyone at the table raved and made lots of yummy sounds during dinner. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes to bring home since I knew how delicious they are...and they did not disappoint! We'll definitely be going back!

this is my 3rd time here, so clearly the food is good. it’s never too too busy where people are waiting outside but for some odd reason they’re always trying to rush us out. i would understand if you are busy and need tables, but you don’t. that really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. foods i tend to order are: pesto lemon shrimp pizza greek salad bbq beef back ribs prime rib broccolini creamy mashed potatoes roasted sweet potatoes banana cream pie cheesecake food is great for the most part. my only two complaints are .. i wish the beef ribs were hotter; they are always lukewarm which i think it’s not good. and the pizza is crispy enough because when you grab a slice all the toppings fall right off. so just be ready for them to have you place your order right after you sit, clean the table before your whole party is done eating, and giving you the bill before asking if we’d like some dessert.

Missed order, served wrong dish with wrong side to each person. Very slow service, took 20 minutes to get dessert after it was ordered.

Ambience is good and food is great. Staff there are super friendly and the restaurant is kid friendly as well. I love love their burrata pesto starter.

We read about Rise Pizzeria in the SJ Mercury’s Newspaper. We decided to try it for Valentine’s Day since they had a prix fix dinner for two that included prime rib. We are so glad we went. They allowed us to have 2 prime ribs as neither of us eat salmon. From the appetizers (roasted artichoke spread & a Caesar salad to share) prime ribs with delicious mashed potatoes and two slices dense chocolate cake and Portuguese cheesecake which excellent. Dinner was outstanding. Gerardo our server and his colleagues were very attentive. They even gave each lady at the table a rose. The manager said it was their idea. We will definitely return for lunch and dinner with family and friends. Good menu choices. Priced well. We love prime rib and now have a place to go to that is not 40 miles away. So glad we read the Mercury News!
