I booked this place on 12/8/24 for the new year eve and had a horrible experience.Day after I booked I received an email asking if we would like to join 7 to 9pm or 9 to 11 pm shift and if we would like fish or meat menu. We were over there at time but when we reached the restaurant we saw a bunch of people waiting outside. They were all people who made a reservation for 9 to 11 pm shift. No one from the restaurant came outside providing an explanation when they would let us enter. 7-9pm customers were still inside, chatting, asking for coffee, dessert etc. So I entered and asked one of the staff members what was going on and when we would be allowed to enter. He told me to go out and wait outside and said they would come. We continued to wait and still there was no one coming. We waited at least till 9.30 under the cold weather. It was 9.45 pm when my 78 y/o mother and I, we were asked to enter. Then everyone got two menus and we were given only one. I could not understand why others had two menu options because I thought the menu was fixed. So when I asked about it one of the waiters said 'because you booked before and they booked today and the other menu is finished'. I did not understand anything but since my Italian and his English were limited I let it go. However the couple sitting next to us got the appetizer and waited a lot to get main the main dish so I asked them when they made the reservation so they had two menus when we had one. The lady said they also booked 2-3 weeks ago so at this point I was really confused and upset.This couple decided to leave before they were served the main dish as the service was really bad and slow and I and my mother we also decided to leave. Then the waiter came with our dishes and when he saw us leaving he said 'at least take the picture of the dish' thinking the would calm us down when instead he irritated us a lot. Everyone was very disorganized and the food was so so.I hope they get better and develop better skills.
