We went to this establishment for Valentine’s Day and we were quite disappointed and underwhelmed. Half of the reason why we wanted to go was to listen to the live music, but upon arrival, we were told the lounge was booked. When we made the reservation, there was no option to specifically request where to be seated, and the website didn’t give an indication that there were multiple dining rooms, so we assumed we would be able to enjoy the music. There was a violinist in our dining room, but the music selection was odd (eye of the tiger, break up songs). Our waiter gave us the cocktail and wine menu when we sat down and then disappeared for almost an hour. We were seated at 8:20 and our meal order was taken at 9:15. During that time, we had to ask a different waiter for bread. Unacceptable. We advised our waiter that I am vegetarian, and he returned with a gluten free menu. Not the same. The food was just OK, although overpriced and small portions. Throughout our time there, other waiters were rolling around dessert and table side service carts and continuously were bumping the carts into my chair, asking me to move in when I couldn’t. We ended up having to move the table a few inches to make room, which was embarrassing. The dining room was entirely overbooked and overcrowded. We got the bill and noticed we were charged $20 for water which was appalling. I guess they charge for water here and they charged us for 2 bottles when we only used 1. We also never requested a special bottle of water in the first place. We asked for still water, which is usually free at any other restaurant. When we finished dinner, the live music had concluded so we were never able to enjoy it. We might give this place a second chance on a different day, but we left very disappointed.
Ristorante LUCCA & Piano Lounge已在1天前回覆Good morning, can you please tell me the name on the reservation as Open Table has no registry for last evening for "Samantha". Once I get the information, I will get back to you. Thank you, William Burris, Managing Partner, Ristorante Lucca
