行政主廚：Randy Rucker

OpenTable美食編輯： James Beard semifinalist Randy Rucker and his wife-partner Amanda Rucker opened this American gem in 2019 dedicated to spotlighting seasonal ingredients from the region. The intimate dining room feels like an extension of the open kitchen, where a four-course menu changes constantly, from sweet amalia oysters with buttermilk ponzu & trout roe to smoked steelhead trout with maple, celeriac & agretti. The results landed River Twice on the New York Times's list of the best Philadelphia restaurants.

Our goal is to encourage a sincere connection to the Delaware River Valley and mid-Atlantic region through the ingredients we select and the dishes we serve. A close relationship with local purveyors allows us to develop an evolving menu, making every visit a unique experience.

    We are going all out for New Years Eve! Toast to the year ahead with a complimentary pour of champagne alongside a special seven course tasting menu featuring everything you deserve to ring in 2025, caviar, uni, truffle galore! For our final seating guests will enjoy an additional complimentary caviar service to close out the year in true celebratory style Priced at $150 per person. Beverages and pairings will be available for additional purchase in house. Tax & a 20% service charge for our entire team will be included in your bill. Please note, dietary restrictions and allergies are unable to be accommodated due to the nature of the event. Tickets are final sale.

    My partner and I really enjoyed our experience here. The care and detail that went into each dish was extraordinary and the vibe was relaxed and fun. We sat at the chefs counter and the entire team were so welcoming and friendly. We love how the menu changes frequently, we are already planning our next visit!

    The menu was exceptional, every flavor was paired perfectly with the protein of the dish. The wine pairing was an excellent addition, perfectly complimentary to the dishes. Nearly every staff member touched my table and was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. One of my favorite dining experiences in Philadelphia.

    Food was a big disappointment. Hard to imagine getting dessert so wrong. Lack of ventilation seemed like a big problem. It was extremely smokey inside and we left smelling of fried fish.

    I’d heard the burger was top tier but holy moly it was even better than I could have imagined. Probably the best burger I’ve had in my life which is a crazy thing to say. If you ever have the opportunity to try it don’t pass it up.

    First time dining here. came in with the wifey. Good friend of Nick C. Requested his section and he did not disappoint as our server and guide. His service and beverage pairings were perfect. Favorite bites were oysters w cranberry gel, chawanmushi (complementary… thank you!), and the Tautog. Bay scallop dish came up short for us. Didn’t like the dusting of cumin at all, and the chiff mint felt too much like eating grass. Wanted to taste the delicious scallops more. Thank you all for everything! We will be coming back <3

    Excellent service and very good food, but fish was somewhat overdone and rubbery. Overall, this was way too much $$$ for a meal that was good, not great.

    The food and service were great. Unfortunately the owner is a DEADHEAD and thinks his patrons should be too - at a very high volume. We were seated directly under a speaker so it was particularly punishing. Such a dumb choice when your food and service are so good. Do better.
