I saw so many good reviews so I thought I’d check this place out, and was really excited. Honestly, a pretty big let down. I ordered the strawberry Bellini… I didn’t know you could make a basic drink taste so bad. It was presented very beautifully, but I couldn’t take more than two sips (yes, I enjoy prosecco, and no, it wasn’t because the alcohol was too strong for me)— a little disappointed that they didn’t offer to take it off my bill or offer me a different drink. The food was alright, but not worth the price. I enjoyed the french toast, which had a beautiful presentation— although still not my favorite. There was some sort of overpowering flavor to my omelette and potatoes that I can’t quite put my finger on. It wasn’t inedible, it just was…off. Again, I didn’t know a simple dish could be disappointing. The staff were very polite, and I don’t think the service was any slower than most restaurants. I paid overall $70+ which wasn’t bad considering it was a winery and how I ordered two dishes, but the food was just not worth the price. Perhaps I just don’t have a sophisticated enough palate, but I’d like to believe that I can usually tell the difference between a well-made dish that happens to not fit my personal taste, versus something that just doesn’t taste very good— especially since I ordered very basic options. Unfortunately wouldn’t go back for a second shot.
