                                                                          The lunch hour was busy but the staff handled the crowd with ease. I thought the Reuben sandwich was delicious and the French fries were just enough to satisfy but not overwhelm. I would return to dine for lunch here.

                                                                          The food and service were fine today as they always do a great job at breakfast in the Riverbend Cafe. Unfortunately as we were eating the fire alarm went off and we were required to exit the restaurant and wait in the lobby. Business breakfasts are somewhat brief and instead of finishing our conversation, we had to leave. Time does not permit waiting around and returning to finish cold breakfast and coffee. So, this time not the best experience.

                                                                          I reserved for brunch because of their menu at 10:45 but when we got there, we were told that no brunch is served there, the kitchen is closed and we can just have breakfast buffet that was not our choice. Or had to wait till 11:30 to be able to order the lunch menu.

                                                                          It was so great to have this as an option for Thanksgiving Dinner. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was delicious. We will definitely keep this venue in mind for future celebrations.

                                                                          Thanksgiving brunch at this location is something we do for many years. After Covid it was not so good but we wanted to give them another chance. I am glad we did! My request for a window view sit was granted and our party of 5 loved the food choices at the buffet. In addition to the turkey we had short ribs , fish and pasta, salads , side dishes and option to choose 2 soups. Clam chowder was one of the best I had (other guests agreed with me). There were many types of cheeses and shrimps but I did not try them. I had to save room for the largest desert table I saw. They were amazing and we loved them all. Overall food was very good!!1 All the servers were kind and It was a wonderful experience even if the weather was rainy and gray.

                                                                          In the past we have had Thanksgiving dinner at the Marriott and it was very good. This time I would say that it was just mediocre. The turkey and stuffing were just okay. The service was minimal. I was told that there would be a 20% gratuity added to the bill. They wrote it down as a "service Charge" and were still looking for an additional tip. I think that since service people new there was a 20% tip, they were not motivated to do an exceptional job. Will be looking for another place for next year's Thanksgiving. Sorry.
