Roanoke Restaurant, located in the Loop, is a local favorite known for its excellent service and top-tier culinary offerings. The menu highlights artisan comfort food, signature rotisserie dishes, and hand-crafted cocktails. The restaurant's design features luxurious finishes, copper accents, and warm lighting inspired by the rotisserie and brick oven in the open kitchen.

Whether you're enjoying happy hour at the bar, dining by the fireplace for a more intimate experience, or joining the vibrant lunch crowd, Roanoke is an ideal spot to gather with colleagues, friends, or family. The restaurant also offers large event spaces that can accommodate up to 250 people.

Guests can enjoy parking validation at the 172 W Madison Self-Park Garage. After 4 p.m. on weekends and weeknights, park for free with a $25 meal purchase. Be sure to bring your parking slip for validation. Not valid for valet parking.

    We ordered the Valentine prix fixe menu the day after Valentine's day. It was okay. I think the regular menu would have been a better option for the price. I liked the upstairs room. There was a restaurant fee added to the check. The server said he would remove it but it wasn't removed.

    We went here after getting married at city hall and the staff made this such a wonderful experience! They put flowers at our table and wrote us a handwritten card with complimentary Prosecco. Great service and food, and they were accommodating to our party of 12. Would recommend to anyone!

    I’ve been here a handful of times and I’ve always enjoyed it but I have never experienced such terrible service. I can’t help but feel like I was ignored and disregarded by my server who seemingly avoided checking in with me. I had trouble flagging him down, I waited so long for a steak knife and new cutlery that my steak had gotten cold, which was also not cooked to order. Very disappointed overall.

    Came for Valentines dinner. The service was fair initially but soon we noticed a few tables nearby receiving wrong orders and one table even ate and paid completely for a different tables order. The server asked the table to pay more than what they had ordered since another table received their order, which was cheaper. Didn’t take long for us to also have our food taken to another table, causing to wait over an hour for our entree. We were offered just two free drinks for the inconvenience.

    The food we received was good. 25 minutes after we ordered dessert we were still waiting on one slice of cake and one slice of cheesecake. Asked for the check without the dessert paid and left. The server didn’t really explain what happened, and it seemed like there was no communication between the first floor kitchen and second floor dining. The whole thing just ruined the vibe of the evening. Upsetting because of could have been a great dinner and evening. Don’t think I would return here the staff seems a little clueless.

    So I don’t normally write a review unless my experience was really spectacular or really mediocre and this one was mediocre. The ambiance and swift seating was nice up stairs or down and the live jazz was also nice. BUT the food is where they dropped the ball. My husband and I got the vday prefixed options along with what should have been a charcuterie board but I was dry bread meat and one cheese with dipping sauces. We got our soup along with cold entrees., I sent mine back because cold crusted fish is gross, so they give it back to me with no saffron “risotto” more like overcooked gloop and then the fish was all destroyed. My server was nice and they fill your water glass often. But I won’t be returning.

    Food was really good! Slightly on the pricier side but good portions and filling. Ambiance was nice but the playlist didn’t really fit the mood. Then they brought it in live music but it was slightly too loud. A little work is needed there. Nevertheless it was a great experience! Would go again.

    Delightful date night before a show. Excellent drinks and fantastic food. The burrata appetizer was delightful. The New York strip was amazing.

    Service was excellent. Restaurant is loud but food was excellent. Had the award winning Chili and the pizza. Both were good. Client requested a special preparation which was delivered perfectly as ordered. Will certainly return for lunch but would request a booth which would have been more conducive for a business conversation.
