Deliciously British, Roast is aptly situated in Britain’s oldest food market. We are dedicated to classical British cooking and using the finest seasonal produce. Our dishes wines and cocktails are constantly evolving and, wherever you sit, there is a view- either into our open kitchen, over Borough Market or onto St. Paul’s Cathedral.

                      Lovely lunch for a birthday. All the roasts look delicious. Beef was great and fish “surprisingly” good. Highly recommend!

                      Great food however the service was very slow. Took a while to be seated, slow service throughout. Unfriendly staff. Staff weren’t knowledgeable (when asking simple questions they didn’t know the answers or try to find out). I mentioned on my booking and on arrival that it was a special occasion and it wasn’t acknowledged

                      Great decor. Pork was brilliant. It’s a shame game was not on the menu as that was the unique slant of Roast in my previous visit

                      Great place in Borough Market, very buzzy, lots of groups having afternoon tea. We were celebrating a birthday lunch and found the service and timelinesss both excellent, the menu was extensive as was the wine/drinks list. I thought the overall price for 3 of us was reasonable considering its location and the content we had - we have zero complaints - thoroughly recommended. Would definitely return.

                      Such a lovely place to brunch with friends. Staff are amazing, the ambience is great, feels really really posh but actually reasonably priced.

                      The atmosphere at 18:30 was excellent as even at this early time on a Wed evening there were many diners. As always the food was first class will an excellent wine menu. (The cocktails and whisky digestives were also perfect) The service is very professional and unobtrusive which certainly adds to the experience. All in all - perfect
