I made this reservation for our 25th wedding anniversary on the recommendation of a couple of friends. I was really excited to experience a terrific dining experience, however, our meal was very disappointing. I started out with the tuna Poke and my husband got the Cajun shrimp. My tuna was phenomenal and I would order it again if I was coming back. The very large shrimp were lacking flavor and were unfortunately overcooked and rubbery/tough to chew. Our salad course was fine. Our main courses were both steak, mine was the reef and turf and my husband got the NY strip. We both ordered our meat medium rare. The presentation was nice, however, both of ours steaks were more rare than medium rare and the chef over salted them. We were surprised that a steakhouse would send out less than a perfect steak. My husband is a great cook and he loves salting our food generously. When he said his steak was too salty to eat, I was floored. Mine was also quite salty, however, we didn’t want to complain and our server was nowhere to be found if we wanted to. The exterior sear on the meat looked lovely, however, it was unusually hard when cutting into it. We both took a to go container and made potato hash for our son the next day without needing added salt. Our anniversary dinner could have been so much better had the waiter come over to ask how our meals were, but he was spending most of his time with the younger table next to us. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We dine at Rocco’s often and we are never disappointed. Shannon, our server, is wonderful. The food was delicious. Highly recommend Rocco’s for lunch or dinner.

A $80 steak should be over the top quality as you’d get at Morton’s or Capital Grill and it was not. Very disappointed in that. Service and ambiance were amazing. But not sure I’d go back

Rocco’s is one of my favorite places to eat in the area, but last night was just disappointing. Our food took over an hour to come out, and by the time it was out, the fries were cold. Our waiter did not check in on us or give us any updates, leading us to think that he forgot about our order. Not sure what happened, but this did not meet our expectations, as Rocco’s always has great service

We felt we were rushed. For example, our entrees were brought to us before we finished our salads, and the salads arrived while we were still enjoying our drinks. We both had steaks but my wife’s was brought my steak and mine was hers, cooked to different degrees. The food itself was very good, but the sides were small. The restaurant was thoughtful in bringing my wife a complementary desert for her birthday.

It took over 75 minutes to get our main dish. Over 25 minutes to get our drinks. Tables around us were getting served- but we were a little forgotten. Our food, although tasty was mostly overcooked. 3 filets all overcooked. And my husband had lamb chops. One cooked beautifully and the other well over the desired temperature . My lobster roll has none of the bitter flavor that was supposedly drizzled on top . It’s a beautiful atmosphere. But for the prices, they need a more consistent service and more accurate cook
