Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Guacamole was amazing! Tacos on the other hand left much to be desired. Carne asada tacos were cold from the tortilla to the meat. Service also left much to be desired as we planned on getting dessert but were just left a check on our table and felt rushed out even though it was not super busy.

Food and service aren’t what they used to be. The guacamole is still excellent but that was the only highlight. We were sat in the bar area where there was water dripping from an air conditioner vent that was dripping directly on my wife. We moved the table ourselves as our server was no where to be seen (a theme for the whole night), and it was then obvious this drip was kit something new (a wet area in the ground was readily aoparent). As far as service, just terrible. It took a long time to order, get our drinks and food. My family’s bar drinks took quite some time and my iced tea took longer. Though we would have all liked another drink (and a refill for my tea), we never got the option as our server didn’t come back to the table until after our meal was done (and she didn’t even deliver it). Rocco’s has historically been a constant in our dining rotation, but not any more.

Our hostess in the bar area was amazing and made our visit memoriable. This is not my first time to Rocco’s Tacos here in Naples and is definitely one I still love to come back to when in town :). The Austin dip is my favorite of all time!

We have come to Rocco’s tacos for years. My children always loved the atmosphere and the guacamole so it was a tradition to go every time we came to Naples. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill! Tonight was the worst dinner experience we have had! We were not seated for our 7:00 reservation until 7:30 for our party of 9. We were fine with that and placed our drink orders and immediately ordered some appetizers and our kids favorite, guacamole made at the table. The drinks took a very long time (a high noon took 20 minutes) and we had to ask three different people for water. The guacamole never came despite asking several times. We finally ask to place our food order and gave up on the guacamole! My husband had to complain to the manager to get our food after 2 hours. The whole dinner experience took three hours. The manager agreed to compensate us for our appetizers (one of which we never even got!) and three sodas. The bill came and we had to point out that only the sodas had been deducted. Overall, so disappointing. We had always enjoyed Rocco’s. However, Naples has plenty of great restaurants with wonderful service and food. I can’t imagine dealing with this again. The topper to the evening was that we now have two charges on our credit card and will have to contact our bank tomorrow!
