   Overall good venue with descent wine selections. Escargot was not really what I was expected and prefer authentic French style. Coconut shrimp taste ok but shrimp itself did not taste fresh and may need better process to melt from frozen. Service was good.

   The Bistro is my favorite restaurant in Rochester!! The food is amazing and everyone is so friendly. It’s always my first choice!

   Food and service were excellent. The staff was attentive, and Ester did a fantastic job of taking care of us and making recommendations.

   Excellent steak. Chill place. We were seated near the bar so it was a bit noisy. Overall enjoyed it.

   Our waitress E was a delight! So very pleasant and attentive. The food was fresh and decent. The dessert menu could use an update (there is no menu). We tried a few different items.

    Made reservation through Open Table. It was accepted by the restaurant. Showed up & checked in with the hostess who, after seeing my reservation, dismissively said, “as you can see, we are very full and I cannot seat you.” No attempt to address the fact that they accepted a reservation that, presumably, the restaurant indicated was available yet refused to honor. Poor showing on that end of the visit - both the restaurant’s decision to put reservation openings that won’t be honored on Open Table & the hostess’ indifference & dismissive attitude. Fortunately, 2 spots at the bar opened up and we were able to eat. The bartender was great and the food was good too. However, had we not been very hungry, we would have left the restaurant after that lackluster interaction with the hostess.
