WE NEVER GOT IN to Rock 'N Ravioli. We've only been to the Arcada once so we don't know our way around very well. When we arrived a bit early we were rudely asked, "What do you need?" I said we were trying to find the Rock 'N Ravioli. The old, fat and rude guy responds, "What for?" (I'm thinking, Really? What the Hell!!) I told him we had dinner reservations at 6:00. He points to the elevator and says, "3rd Floor." My wife and I get to the 3rd floor and arrive at the Speakeasy, which was supposedly had no openings at 6:00 for dinner. I originally tried to book there but chose the Rock 'N Ravioli when I saw there were no spots available. When we got up to the Speakeasy the girl asked for our name and if we had reservations. I explained the situation about us being redirected, very rudely, to "come up here". She looked confused and said, "Well that's ok the menu's are the same anyway", which I found odd. Anyway, we walked in to a virtually empty restaurant, which was supposedly sold out. After we were seated and looked at the menu, we saw no pasta choices listed whatsoever. I was really looking forward to a good Italian style meal but ordered whitefish instead. I have to say the food was great and our waitress was awesome, however! So while I was eating I put 2 and 2 together. We were there to eat and then see the band Mr. Big play and while I'm not positive, I think we got screwed out of our reservations because the Arcada decided to do a meet and greet with the band and at the last minute moved it from the Speakeasy down to the new restaurant, Rock 'N Ravioli. Not cool!! The right thing to do, other than fire the idiot that asked what we wanted, would have been to explain the situation to us and then give us the option of what we wanted to. I'm not sure we will be going back now. We'll see.
(Mr. Big put on a great show!)
