Rockin' Baja is a full service and fun Mexican-Seafood restaurant that offers uniquely prepared Baja style seafood presented in rustic steel buckets.     One of the items I ordered was the Baja Sampler which is something I get everytime I frequent Rockin Baja but this time the taquitos were replaced with southwest egg rolls. I asked the server and he said “oh the menu was changed” but I had just been to this location a couple weeks ago. They have a smaller portion of everything for the same price. No complaints on the other items we ordered.

    We visit this restaurant several times a month and we’ve noticed a decrease in the quality of the food. This last visit, the food was over cooked and king crab legs were pretty much empty shell casings. It was a disappointment but we’re not ready to give up yet.

    We had a nice experience celebrating my sister’s 70th Birthday at RBL. The staff was very nice. We arrived at 1pm on a Sunday no waiting. We had a 1:15 reservation and was seated early. Our waitress, Mabel was awesome. Very attentive and genuinely helpful in dealing with our needs and demands. There were only 4 of us but whew! We had plenty of food and free refills on the drinks (check which drinks are free refills). We have been going to RBL for years so appreciate it being a good time each time.

    Ricardo was our server. He provided my husband and I with a warm and inviting experience, offering detailed descriptions of the items offered on the menu. The atmosphere was pleasant and full of life.

    Horrible service. I informed the staff it was my wifes birthday. They did absolutely nothing, not even wishing her happy birthday. The restaurant was practically empty yet the server ignored us so long I had to get up to get soda refills for myself and the kids. They got my order wrong but I wasn't about to send it back the way things were going. To top it off, they let a CHILD order a $75 plate and said absolutely nothing about the price. The waitresses attitude about it was dismissive and unapologetic when I brought up the bill. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their customers experience. This place is not what it used to be.
