   Amazing as always. Thank you!! Great food, nice wines, good service and love to be by the sea eating fresh fish. If I had one wish … I’d prefer the fish platters to. be less lobster focused. We love a fish platter but neither of us a fan of lobster so we avoid. A none lobster version would be amazing.

   A great restaurant! Not badly priced at all for what you get. Oysters were yummy as was the crab. Well catered for children and very flexible. Waiting staff very attentive but not overbearing and really pleasant.

   Delicious food (had the crab and lobster) and a beautiful ambience. We sat outside staring out to sea in the beautiful midday sunshine. The staff were wonderfully helpful and polite. We will definitely be back.

   Took some family friends up from London for a meal out and as usual the quality, Ambience and service was wonderful, can highly recommend Rocky Bottoms.

   During my visit, I indulged in a plate of fresh oysters, which were briny and impeccably chilled—an ideal start to the meal. The highlight, however, was the lobster Thermidor. Perfectly grilled and topped with a rich, creamy sauce, it was both decadent and satisfying. The lobster was served with a crisp salad and hand-cut chips, making for a well-rounded and delightful dish.

   Love the setting, good menu and great service. Bread quantity with pate, as with all restaurants, miserly and had to order more. Crevettes both excellent quality and quantity. Lobster nice, but smaller than the £10 lobsters you can buy from Tesco's, so very poor value. Overall the costs are high, given that the produce is local and requires little preparation. Service charge automatically applied which is not appropriate given the cost and should be optional Will go again and recommend it for the ambience. service and setting but for special occasions only when I am feeling flushed financially.

   Hi David, thank you for leaving us your review we appreciate the feedback! Our prices as many other establishments have risen due to the rising costs. Using our own produce isn't 'cheaper' as we still have the hard work and preparation that goes into cooking and dressing our lobsters and crabs! Cromer lobsters are smaller than most in supermarkets as they have not been frozen and shipped across seas, (smaller and tastier) and we cannot always guarantee the size they're all different. We hope you do come back and visit in the near future.

    Unfortunately, the food was well below par. Collectively for 4 of us the bill came to £164 and that was without the 13%service charge! The price for half a lobster Thermidor was over £30. The lobster was small, tough and tasteless. The salad was very basic and the chips very mediocre. However, you couldn’t fault the welcome and waitress staff.

    Hi Sharon, as stated on the menu our service charge is completely optional and can be removed when paying! Prices have risen due to the rising costs however lobster itself is always a delicacy and has always been a higher priced meal. A lot of work and preparation goes into fishing catching our lobsters and crabs to then cooking and dressing them ourselves. Our lobsters here in cromer are smaller than most sometimes but always within the guidelines. Thank you for the feedback. :)
