Seafood lovers will find a lovely haven at Rodney's Oyster House! Rodney's maritime hospitality can be found in the heart of the Beltline District in downtown Calgary. Anchored on the corner of 4th St. & 10 Ave SW in a bright and rustic room where our knowledgeable shuckers pair succulent aphrodisiacs with local beer and classic wines. Rodney's is built on a strong foundation with a singular focus - growing, sourcing, and serving some of the finest oysters from around the globe. Our classic costal menu features house made chowders, live lobster and crab, fresh mussels and scallops, shrimp, and sustainably sourced fish. Also serving locally sourced Alberta beef to vegetarian, and gluten free are readily available for the non-seafood lovers.

The service was excellent. The 6 oyster offered were all excellent in flavor. Wednesday is 1/2 price wine which is a great time to go.

We had a large group and Rodney’s was out of almost every dish we ordered. The servers were great and made alternative selections but there weren’t many. A few people in our group were disappointed with their meals and several mentioned the food was not great

The Caesar salad was not good at all. The oysters were large and delicious, calamari was very good and fish tacos were great. Service was a bit slow but all servers were polite and ready to help.

Food choice and quality was outstanding. The oysters were so fresh and tasty. They operate the way a great seafood restaurant should. Service was also excellent. You won’t be disappointed going to Rodney’s!!
