Rooster & the Till is an award-winning, modern American neighborhood restaurant in Seminole Heights. With an always-evolving menu & eclectic beverage program, it's perfect for adventurous diners looking to be challenged by new ingredients and who expect high attention to service.

We offer 2 different reservation options each evening, seats at one of our tables or at our kitchen counter, barstools that overlook the kitchen. The full menu, including tasting, is available anywhere within the restaurant.

We'd love to plan a tailor-made dinner experience for your group! Due to our small size, we are limited to large parties of 25 or less during service hours. For full space buyouts, we are limited to 60 guests for sit-down dinners and 90 for larger cocktail hour-style parties, where we can offer buffet style dining or passed hors’d’oevres.

Nightly Kitchen Counter Reservation

Reserve high-top seating at the Chef's Counter overlooking the kitchen and get a firsthand look at every dish as it's prepared. All reservations are limited to 2 hours unless otherwise arranged. *Note, this is not a reservation for our front bar and is not included in happy hour.* ACCESS INFO: Please note this is a reservation for high stools that may be a challenge for those who have access needs.

Reserve wine pairing may have been over-valued but presentations were too rushed to be sure. All of the courses were rushed. The server was very blasé and insincere and poured water like a 4-year-old. He spilled water on the table and on the floor and did not attempt to wipe it up. There was a large piece of tendon or fascia (about 1 inch x 1 inch) in my beef ravioli and I attempted to discretely spit it into my napkin and set aside and of course the only seemingly attentive server noticed my napkin, picked it up, shook out the food onto the floor, and folded my napkin very nicely and set it back on the table beside me. The ambiance was a roaring din because of the amount of people packed in and the volume of the house music. I would have gently mentioned all of this to the owner in the ball cap but he had his back turned with his hind end 2 feet from my face while he spent quite a bit of time entertaining the table beside ours.

Rooster & the Till is a hidden gem! From the outside, it’s unassuming, but inside, it’s a beautifully designed space with a classy, intimate atmosphere. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and seamless. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and packed with incredible flavors. While it’s on the pricier side, the quality absolutely justifies it. A truly impressive dining experience!

Came for a birthday, absolutely excellent. The counter was so cool to sit and watch the kitchen operate. Chef Angela was amazing. The food was absolutely incredible and delicious! The caviar bump and champagne was such a fun and unique way to celebrate!

Did not live up the expectations or rave reviews that I’ve been hearing about for years. Very small portions, overpriced, mediocre service, and the food was unmemorable. Overall, this felt like a dive bar that had semi-decent food. Further, the bright lighting and bare-bones seating resulted in a rather uncomfortable and unrewarding affair. I truly felt ripped off (caviar bump???) when I paid my several hundred dollar bill. On a bright note, I have to say the foie gras was outstanding.

Paid the Bill but never got a copy, Good Food, but Very loud, my friend got his drink I wanted quite a while for mine, but the bar was understaffed. The food was good though,

My hands down favorite restaurant in Tampa. If you are looking for impressive, non-traditional dishes that excite your taste buds and leave you asking how they managed to concoct something so tasty with ingredients you would never assume would mesh, look no further. They've also won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award the last 3 years running... enough said.
