Located directly across the street from Lincoln Center, Rosa Mexicano is the ideal destination for dinner before a performance, or a cocktail after the show. This impressive space features an award-winning, 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall inspired by the cliff divers of Acapulco, designed by architect David Rockwell. Our table was ready as we arrived, a nice table out of the way, upstairs. It took about fifteen minutes, and asking three times for water and the same thing for drinks, and we almost had to beg to get a server to take our order. There were no issues with our order - it came in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was as ordered - we had a few amendments due to allergies. Margaritas were good.

We were a party of 5 for a pre Lincoln Center dinner. One member in our party needed to use the service elevator to get upstairs. The staff was terrific. We were served promptly and got out the door in plenty of time for our show. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. My enchiladas were not piping hot, but tasty. I would strongly recommend Rosa for pre show dinners. Consistently good.

Wait staff gave great service even for how busy the restaurant was! Food came quickly and was delicious! Ambiance was cozy.

We went before a LIncoln Center performance. We have eaten here many times since the restaurant opened and the food never disappoints. It is among the best Mexican fusion restaurants I know. It very convenient to Lincoln Center and reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the neighborhood.

The food was good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. But the management does not deserve high marks. We were offered the table right next to the serving traffic in a dark badly lit place. When we asked for a different available table, we were told it was reserved. Why our reservation for the earlier time was worse than this one nobody could explain. When we asked to see the manager, we were told that he was too busy to see us. When we pointed to another available table, we were told it was not ready. The only things that were missing from the table were plates. It took our waiter 1 minute to set the table. All it tells me that the management does not care equally about all the patrons. Very disappointing.
