Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, Rose Mary is Chef/Owner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. The boisterous space—named for Flamm’s grandmothers, Mary and Mary Rose, and the herb rosemary, which grows natively along the Italian and Croatian coastlines—offers a seasonal menu of rustic yet refined dishes that encapsulate what Flamm has coined “Adriatic drinking food”.

    The food was good, but nothing to write about. There is one and a dozen restaurants with the similar menu In my opinion, just another Chicago overpriced restaurant. I understand you pay for the location and the name, but we probably won’t come back in the near future.

    Incredible pasta. Good recommendations on what to choose. Four dishes is more than enough. The lamb pasta was incredibly rich and delicious. very much enjoyed the cauliflower

    I grew up eating burek and chevops and have never found a restaurant that served these on the menu! They are as good as what I grew up eating! This restaurant is truly special; delicious food, a bright and warm environment with a low noise level.

    Excellent pastas!!!!! I'd skip the chevapi next time and go straight for the lamb. Drinks were delicious but pricey so beware.

    Absolutely amazing experience at Rose Mary. So grateful to have the opportunity to eat at this amazing restaurant. Felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. Our server Greg curated an exceptional experience. Every bite was delicious and a delight. If we lived here this would be our place. Thank you Rose Mary for the very best meal and an incredible family experience.

    Lost my appetite after the delay of the third dish, food is OK but not impressive. it is not like I am going to crave myself to return. I am not sure I truly understand of the concept but food came once at the time when I was told the idea of the dish is for sharing. It is an experience but not going back again.

    Rosemary is a place that provides elegant service to customers. They operate their business in such a high manner and this is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! I will be back very very soon. Darien G
