We are business casual. Thank you for not wearing tank tops, sleeveless shirts, flip-flops, gym wear, or short shorts. Dress shorts are acceptable. Please remove your hat when entering.

- OUTDOOR PATIO SEATING WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.
We will do our best to accommodate all seating requests but please understand these tables cannot be guaranteed because of such limited availability.
- The largest party we could accommodate outside will be 5 guests any party bigger than 5 guests will be seated inside, WE DO NOT SPLIT PARTIES OUTSIDE.
- If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please let us know prior to arriving at the restaurant.
A 3% Surcharge will be added to every check. We will be happy to remove this by request.

Food was fresh, delicious and abundant. This was our first experience at this restaurant, which has a substantial reputation for it was good, but overall, less than we anticipated.

Sunday, 03/09/2025 Chicago, Illinois Rosebud on Rush Italian Restaurant I'm in Chicago for a work conference, and I'm thrilled to be ending a challenging couple of months on a high note! I made reservations for tonight's dinner on OpenTable to share with my colleagues, and I'm so glad I did. I'm obsessed with reviews on OpenTable and Yelp - they're like a treasure trove of restaurant recommendations that inspire me to try new places. After reading a gazillion glowing reviews, I made reservations for tonight, and let me tell you, they exceeded my expectations in every way! First, major kudos to the hostess tonight - she was warm, welcoming, and set the tone for an exceptional evening! 💕 Our waiter Jaime deserves a 10-star rating, or better yet, a Nobel Prize in waitering! He was kind, professional, accommodating, and made our experience nothing short of extraordinary! 💕 The food? Absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt divine! Jaime recommended the special that wasn't on the menu, and boy, was it a revelation! - Zuppa de Mare 💕 It was love at first bite, seriously, the chef deserves a standing ovation! Message to the owner or manager: A heartfelt thank you to the staff, especially Jaime, our incredible waiter! 💕 He provided us with supreme service, and we're forever grateful! I highly recommend this restaurant, whether you're a local or a tourist - just request Jaime, and he'll treat you to an unforgettable dining experience that will leave you feeling inspired and eager to return!

Seated very quickly to our reservation. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is definitely a big group spot, there were only two of us and the portions are very big. Especially the entrees, yet they were very good. Would definitely recommend!

Our party of two was seated in the downstairs dining room between two large (8+), VERY loud parties. The bread basket was disappointing (commercial, basic, not warm dinner rolls seemingly?) But the worst thing - Fox News playing on a TV screen. Why is there even a screen in this dining room at all? Not for guests at the bar, as their backs were to this screen. One should be able to enjoy dinner, at least, without the continual media pummeling. If we cannot come together over a meal, then what is left, really? I will qualify this for readers by acknowledging that I did not speak to the establishment about any of these things. Because I am sick of being in the position to have to do that. If restaurants are going to charge the kind of high prices they’re charging, plus surcharges, then in exchange, things like this should not happen, especially in a major metropolis. My suggestion to Rosebud on Rush - be more professional, like your delightful servers! My suggestion to diners - choose one of the other hundreds of fantastic restaurants in The Second City. There’s just no excuse for stuff like this anymore.

Bread was stale. Service was very slow. Veal was pretty gross. Table next to us was loud and annoying. Pasta was decent
