A Rare Steakhouse, Well Done.

Rosebud Steakhouse prides itself in creating a true Chicago steakhouse experience for all of its guests. We offer superior quality, dry and wet aged cuts that are locally sourced by Linz Heritage Angus Beef. Visit our original location on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, our Indiana location in Munster, and soon, our first restaurant in Texas located in Southlake, Tx.

Rosebud Steakhouse in Wheeling IS NOT part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, consequently we do not honor Rosebud Gift Card (similar to the ones from COSTCO). We are part of the CHC RESTAURANT group, and our Gift Cards can be used at any of our restaurants, including Rosebud Steakhouse on Magnificent Mile, Rosebud Steakhouse in Centennial Village, Coppolillo's Italian Steakhouse in both Libertyville, IL and Crown Point, IN, and soon to come, Windy City Social in Munster, and Rosebud Steakhouse in Dallas, TX. This restaurant was great. Only complaint is that they nickel and dime you for sodas, side dishes, accompaniments- their pricing is high, but the quality is good.

The quality and quantity of food here is outstanding! Oh my gosh I never tasted such a perfectly prepared, juicy skirt steak in all my life, and I’ve eaten at a lot of steakhouses around the country. My husband had the lamb chop and felt the same. We ordered a chopped salad to split before the meal and then split two sides with the meal, the steak mashed potatoes and the crispy Brussels sprouts. They were both so tasty I stuffed myself but still had plenty left over to take home. We went on NY Eve so I expected slow service, but the food was so darn delicious it was worth the wait. I recommend for two people getting the chopped salad to split and two sides to split along with your separate entrees. It was perfect. Appetizers might have spoiled my appetite. Yum!! Highly recommend.

Service was slow because they had so many wait staff out ill. Manager was very kind and took care of us. The waitress never acknowledged or apologized for her inattentiveness or slow service.

Our server was wonderful (Sergei) even though we had some problems figuring out the checks at the end. Our fault - splitting dishes and asking for separate checks. Service was unusually slow, even for New Year's Eve, more than 3 hours. Delmonico steak - lots of fat, not very tender, and undercooked. Didnt want to send it back because of the time factor. Side dishes good. didn't have the drink I wanted (Liqor 43) so disappointed.

We loved the lobster bite appetizer and the Brussels sprouts. Both unique dishes. The service was a bit slow, took forever to get bread, for example, but perhaps because it was New Year's Eve and they were busy. Steak was a bit overdone and seemed dry.
