   The onglet starter and the cod Loin main were outstanding. The pasta dish with guanciale was disappointing with. It enough flavor and a watery sauce . Basque cheesecake with rhubarb was excellent

   A huge asset to the ‘new’ Brentford. Cool minimalist surroundings warmed up by a lively buzz and friendly and efficient service. The food is the reason to come here though - fresh all made in-house including perfect bigoli pasta with caramelized onion and burnt butter and charred cod on orzo with peas and wild garlic. Torta Caprese was outstanding - a rich almond and high-quality-chocolate cake with a delicate crust. Great value for such high-end food.

   The best meal out I have had in sometime and one of the only times I have ever read a menu and wanted to try everything on it! Couldn’t order it all, naturally, but what we had was top flight. Ordered several of their small plates and a pasta. Each bite was an absolute delight! They have a short but accomplished cocktail list and an excellent selection of wines! Owned and run by a lovely set of twins, one helming the kitchen and the other the front of house, this is my new favourite restaurant. I will work my way through their menu!

   Part of the new development at Brentford. Menu is small but seasonal. All food that came out the kitchen looked nice. We had a cod and lamb dish and both were tasty. Should’ve ordered a pasta dish as well as they all looked good. One for next time. Would go again

   Everything was delicious - we loved the parpadelle, basque cheesecake and tiramisu! The beef onglet was excellent as well.

   Very disappointed in our experience at Rottura last night. We had really been looking forward to trying out this restaurant for the first time and had heard great things about it. We received a very poor welcome, in fact it was not a welcome The three staff at the front desk were reluctant to speak to us when we entered. After waiting politely we approached and gave our name for our booking. We were then led without any word of greeting or encouragement to a table at the very back of the restaurant right outside the toilets. Nothing was said and nothing mentioned about the location. We politely requested to be moved and were told they were completely booked and could not accommodate this. At the time of booking we had stated it was a date night. We decided not to eat there so our review is not about the food, value, noise level or ambience. Luckily we were well looked after by another local restaurant who were also busy but very accommodating. It's not asking a lot to greet people when they arrive and explain how you order etc.

   I’m sorry to hear that your experience with us didn’t meet expectations. We always aim to provide a warm welcome, and I’ve addressed your feedback with the team. Regarding your seating, as a small 38-seat restaurant, we were fully booked that evening and had no other tables available. Unfortunately, we could not move you elsewhere. I personally spoke with your husband at the time and apologised profusely, but unfortunately, there was nothing I could have done. He seemed to understand but mentioned he would consult with you before deciding how to proceed. Additionally, while we appreciate occasions, other than birthdays all bookings are treated equally to ensure fairness for all guests. I do appreciate your feedback and regret that you didn’t get to experience what Rottura has to offer.
