We’re Row 34. If we could eat oysters and drink beer for every meal period, we probably would. Professionals Only.

Row 34 serves up a seafood-focused menu in an industrial-inspired setting. Chef/Owner Jeremy Sewall's menu offers fish entrees and an extensive oyster selection, along with craft beers and an eclectic wine list. Classic comfort food side dishes round out the menu.

    Row 34 always delivers!! We had an amazing dinner and feasted on oysters, tuna tar-tar, calamari, dinner rolls, corn bread, chowda, and lobster rolls. The warm lobster roll is my absolute favorite at Row 34. I had some colleagues in town for some business meetings and Row 34 was my 1st thought for an amazing dinner. The ambiance is perfect for dinner out, great music in the background and just a great vibe. Don’t forget to get a chocolate chip cookie or the butterscotch pudding!!

    This is our 4th time here. In a word - inconsistent. The oysters were very good. The entrees both lacked flavor. The crab pasta type was chosen to be trendy and did not fit the cuisine or make it easy to eat. The seafood stew contained over-cooked shrimp, under-cooked calamari, unremarkable whitefish and 4 passable mussels. The sauce had no taste or character. The vegetables had been sapped of flavor. The apple pie and ice cream saved the evening. I think we have nurtured this enough especially in a city that has so many excellent eateries.

    I expected more here. The service was fantastic but unfortunately the food wasn’t all round good. The oysters were great but the entrees were average.

    As usual, I had a great meal at Row 34. Our server, Marjorie, was pleasant and very attentive. The oysters were delicious. My friends and I all enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend Row 34!

    Great dinner at the bar - the server, Molly, was so helpful with drink and food recommendations. We loved the oyster lettuce cups, the swordfish (cooked perfectly) and pork shank. Drinks were delicious as well!

    We had the best dinner at this restaurant. The waiter was extremely helpful, knew all that the kitchen could do, adjusted dishes to our taste and made wonderful recommendations. On top of that, he was fun! From the lobster bisque to my husband’s crab cake, my buttered lobster served on at salad (at my request), to a six-star side of roasted Brussels sprouts served with chili oil and chopped peanuts, we were hooked and will return to Row 34 whenever in Portsmouth! Oh, and the butterscotch pudding was creamy, yet airy and divine!
