We’re Row 34. If we could eat oysters and drink beer for every meal period, we probably would. Professionals Only.

Row 34 serves up a seafood-focused menu in an industrial-inspired setting. Chef/Owner Jeremy Sewall's menu offers fish entrees and an extensive oyster selection, along with craft beers and an eclectic wine list. Classic comfort food side dishes round out the menu.

    Overall very good. Mussels were great, a generous portion with very flavorful broth. The whole fish (black sea bass) was bland and somewhat dry. Great service.

    Row 34 is an excellent and dependable brand. We have gone to each location and all have been excellent. Portsmouth is our closest location and the one we visit the most. Food, service and vibe are great. I’m a big fan of island creek oysters and great beer, so Row is my place for both.

    Food was excellent! The service attention to detail. Lived the atmosphere! If you like IPA’s large selection and the oysters 10 out of 10! Good foe couples, families, friends.

    We had a great lunch at Row 34, our second visit. The whitefish pate was delicious, as was the shrimp and grits. Yum. Get the butterscotch pudding for dessert. There were more families at lunchtime, which made it loud in a different way than the buzz of the dinner crowd. Nothing terrible. Service was excellent!

    Row 34 always delivers!! We had an amazing dinner and feasted on oysters, tuna tar-tar, calamari, dinner rolls, corn bread, chowda, and lobster rolls. The warm lobster roll is my absolute favorite at Row 34. I had some colleagues in town for some business meetings and Row 34 was my 1st thought for an amazing dinner. The ambiance is perfect for dinner out, great music in the background and just a great vibe. Don’t forget to get a chocolate chip cookie or the butterscotch pudding!!

    This is our 4th time here. In a word - inconsistent. The oysters were very good. The entrees both lacked flavor. The crab pasta type was chosen to be trendy and did not fit the cuisine or make it easy to eat. The seafood stew contained over-cooked shrimp, under-cooked calamari, unremarkable whitefish and 4 passable mussels. The sauce had no taste or character. The vegetables had been sapped of flavor. The apple pie and ice cream saved the evening. I think we have nurtured this enough especially in a city that has so many excellent eateries.
