Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. His unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons at Rumi’s Kitchen and has created a place where people want to visit again and again. The Rumi's Kitchen at Colony Square aims to earn the hearts of those in Midtown, Atlanta.

The food here was exceptional!! I went back two days in a row and tasted 4 entrees. The short ribs and the sea bass are out of this world! The service was wonderful and the servers were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Great experience!!

The food at Rumi's was really excellent and original. But what we appreciated the most is that there was no deafening music! Finally a restaurant that understands that you do not have to drown out your patrons' conversation for them to have a nice experience. It was our first time, but we will definitely come back regularly.

As advertised, authentic Persian cuisine with an American twist - in a good way! Imaginative, flavorful, great value from starters to desserts. An excellent experience. What made our experience particularly positive was the attentive service provided by Taurice. Friendly but never overbearing. Great knowledge of his menu with good recommendations. We will definitely be back!! Well done, Taurice! :)

The waiter, Brian D, and the staff did a wonderful job. The food was delicious as usual. The noise level was too loud which made it a little difficult to have a conversation.
