Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does. This unending aspiration for perfection has been instrumental in establishing the standard for Persian cuisine in Atlanta. Tha food keeps us coming back! It just an experience unmatched by any of the other restaurants for the value! Great place highly recommend it for special night out!

We were there for dinner on New Year’s Eve. While we liked the food, there was a lack of a acknowledgement about New Year, which was disappointing.

Service was top-tier. The drinks were delicious. The rice portion was large, yet the meat portion was small. It was a nice surprise to be gifted with ice cream for my birthday.

Visited Rumi's (Colony Square location) for the 1st time. Food was pretty good, we just didn't care for the seating. We made prior reservations, only to be seated squeezed at a table tightly with other couples. The tables were cocktail tables, which are too small considering the large dishes they serve the meals on, along with drinks, water carafe etc. There is no elbow room to eat. My husband said the food was good, but he didn't care for the seating.

This is the best of all three locations. Dining room is nicer atmosphere than both Avalon and Sandy Springs (don’t get me wrong - I love those also!). Sea bass is just as good and if it’s even possible, I think the portions are even bigger! Which is crazy since they already give you sooo much food. We love Rumis!

Seven of us got together to celebrate New Years Eve with a 2pm lunch, just as we did last year. As usual, the food and service was excellent, and reasonably priced at around $50 a person considering the quality of the food and beverages. In addition, our waitress was warm and attentive.
