Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

One of our order missed and delivered late after our remind. They persist to pick dishes and glass up and they came to the desk repeatedly. Appetizers didn't refill. It can be asked at least before picking up

Amazing experience. Both food and the service was outstanding! Never had a waitstaff be so knowledge about the dishes and its ingredients! Sinayaa’s service was what took the experience to the next level. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Food was very very good with decent service as well. Noise level is high so hard to carry on a conversation.

The food is amazing. Rumi’s is my new fav in DC. The service was very good. They didn’t miss a thing. I didn’t appreciate a head nod when I thanked our server for water, etc. that is not a proper response.

We had eaten at Rumi in June and absolutely loved it! We have been dying to go back and finally brought some friends for dinner this weekend. The food quality had dropped, the flavors not as bright and the portions were much smaller than the last time we visited. Was quite disappointed with our visit.
