The food was delicious and the staff were kind. They helped make our seating needs happen and manager took time to talk to us about the pictures around our part of the room. Toward the end of the night, a server helped narrow down a tea choose for a teen in our party. I loved how several of them took time to make the evening special. It was a fun bucket list check off for my husband.

Terrific food - we ordered the afternoon tea. Really subpar service. Had to ask multiple times for very basic things.

Had beef stroganoff, little small, but met fell apart with touch of fork. Tasted terrrific. All deserts were $22, I didn’t think ice cream was worth $22, I got creame brûlée with raspberries, was fine. We’re celebrating a special occasion, so worth the $.

I took a shot on this one due to the mixed reviews. This was our first time here (party of 4) to celebrate my mom's birthday. Honestly, everything was really nice from the moment we walked in. We were received by a nice, smiling hostess and all our servers were kind and answered all questions we had. The food was good and the tea was great. The only thing is that it is a bit overpriced for what it is...but it's NY people, this is expected. Overall we were all extremely satisfied with our first-time dine in at the Russian Tea Room.

Such a shame. A once great restaurant is now to be avoided. The onion soup was tasteless as was the "beef" Stroganoff. It first came with a piece of meat that was 85% fat. After we told them about that they brought a very good piece of meat. The noodles were without any flavor. I had been coming here since the '50s but never again.

Had not been to NY in 30 years and had never been to the tearoom, so i thought it was time. I was so glad I did. One of the best afternoon teas I’ve ever had. Ambiance was perfect as was the service.
