Francis Ford Coppola shares his personal pantheon of recipes at RUSTIC, Francis’s Favorites, the winery’s full-service restaurant. RUSTIC’s menu embraces international as well as traditional Italian dishes, with an emphasis on family-style cooking that features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the property’s organic herb and produce garden. Authentic, Neapolitan-style pizzas are also a specialty.

RUSTIC offers service in our casual dining room and on an outdoor terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the vineyards of Alexander Valley. A bar adjacent to the restaurant also serves a full complement of cocktails and an extensive wine list.

We’ve been to Rustic many times in its years, and today was only ok. Wayyyy too noisy for any conversation. As the weather wasn’t good, all dining patrons were packed together in only half of the interior restaurant. Conversation was pretty impossible. The menu is more limited each time we go. Only 3 pizzas offered today, a Saturday, yet there were 7 or 8 on the menu. Very limited other entrees. The service was excellent and the food was good, but the atmosphere was difficult due to the noise. We’ll think twice before we make another reservation. Sorry.

They had an off night. The service was slow and nonexistent at times. 22 minutes from when cleared the salad plates until the food arrived. One pasta dish cold. As a local, not a place I am going to hurry back too.

Beautiful spot to sit outside and enjoy a lovely lunch. The fresh pesto with rustic bread and burrata was amazingly fresh and delicious. Totally enjoyed our visit.
