   Horrible service. Wait staff has a terrible attitude. They’re overworked and so nasty. Waited 50 minutes for our meal.

   Small drinks, worst cosmopolitan ever ( sirupy, beyond sweet total disaster) hamburger and fries were really good.

   This is a relatively new spot in our neighborhood. Service for Sunday brunch was friendly and appropriately attentive. We arrive a couple minutes before our reservation and were seated immediately on the patio area (our requested location). The ambience was comfortable and drinks were outstanding. The fried chicken and waffle dish was outstanding - the chicken was perfectly cooked, still moist and tender, fried batter was crispy and not greasy. The three side sauces for the chicken were very tasty, one sweet, one hot and one savory. The French toast dish was less successful. The cut of bread was too thick for their prep - so the inside was just bread (not the usually egg, milk custard) and only the outside was coated with the French toast egg-milk wash. Ordered a side of shaved Virginia ham which was wonderful. So all in all, worth trying again as this place gets its “sea-legs”.

   The music was way too loud to enjoy dinner. We were hoping to dine in a restaurant, not a discotheque.

   Food was great. Very lively place. Our waitress was fantastic. We had a 6:30 reservation but didn’t get seated until 7. I had to go up 3 times to see what was up. The hostess was not helpful and said she would check on it but never followed up with me. Aside from that snd super loud music…it was great. Will return.

   Let's start with the "shareables" The corn bread and bacon mac and cheese were in a very small cast iron pan - We had a table of 6 this would maybe feed 1.5 people (that was not disclosed when ordering) The entre food took a while to arrive so be ready to wait. Our reservations were late on a Saturday (8:15) there was a DJ (we were not prepared for that) We could not hold a conversation easily so if you are looking to bring a client or have a date night with conversation or catch up with old friends (like us) definitely confirm whether or not a DJ will be there. I ordered the lobster pasta. It was very lacking in flavor. The steak was good but small. The bacon mac and cheese was excellent. Also, weird fact the bathrooms are outside the restaurant so be prepared for that. It was a trendy spot, but I wasn't looking for a "club" vibe I would prefer more a nice, upscale, dinner spot that has music at a fun level where you can still hold a conversation without shouting across the table. I would much rather go to Rare Society for a trendy spot in Solana Beach. Also, I ordered the cocktail Snow on the beach and there was a ton of ice compared to the drink - not worth the price.

    We were a party of four and made the reservation a month in advance but were seated at a large table that fits 8 people which made it impossible to have any sort of conversation Our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes on two occasions, she apologized and said they were short staffed but between the inability to have a conversation and really slow service it wasn’t a good experience The bar area is nice We are locals, so we don’t plan to go back for dinner but will go for drinks
